TN Dead Bio:
Tennessee Dead has been playing the music of the Grateful Dead and JGB since 2015. The band has been described as a cross between the Dead and Mahavishnu Orchestra, one that’s unafraid to use the Grateful Dead’s catalog as a springboard for exploration. We jam from the first note and every show is a journey of peaks and valleys as we travel through melodic and rhythmic pathways. Though we are a tribute band, we play the music as if it is our own. Members include Jon Mahaffey (lead guitar and vocals), Ginger Sands (rhythm guitar and vocals), Carter Dahm (keyboards and vocals), Luke Sands (bass), Bobby Frank (Drums), Tom Larson (percussion).
