SLIM WEDNESDAY

Featuring members of Widespread Panic and The Dynamites, and of course Bill from Shenanigans, Slim Wednesday returns from a very long post-Covid hiatus to ring April Fool Fest proper NOLA-style. The day after Fat Tuesday is Slim Wednesday! Full of funky, slinky vibes and New Orleans goodness. Nothing but smiles and grooves, y'all. Yeah, y'right.

THE AFTERNOONERS

From just down the way in Chattanooga, The Afternooners have graced the upstairs stage at Shenanigans several times, and is one of the only bands ever to sell it out! Rock and soul and jam and jazzy vibes galore await you when The Afternooners take the late slot and power you through that dance floor!

DIAMOND STREET PLAYERS

We are proud to welcome from Atlanta, GA a primo retro-soul, organ boogaloo outfit that has served as house band for a ton of indie vintage soul powerhouses over the last ten years. Getting them on the same stage outside of Atlanta is indeed a challenge because these cats are everywhere! So we're sooooo very psyched to get this vintage but oh-so-fresh soul groove as part of this awesome day of music.

WILD IRIS BRASS BAND

Well it wouldn't be April Fool Fest without a brass band! You can't eat crawfish or shrimp proper without a second-line to work it off! Wild Iris was founded by Jeff Coffin (sax player in Dave Matthews Band and so many others) and he assembled what can only be referred to as a super-group of horn players, all of which are likely on a stage next to your city TONIGHT. Whoever they send up, rest assured you're getting the real thing, and I mean the REAL THING. I just wish this guys would make records!

ALL OF THESE BANDS ARE IN THE "NOT TO BE MISSED" CATEGORY, so we'll spare you the cliche! Just get that all access fest pass if you want some Louisiana seafood, or hit that "Music Only" ticket for just the bands. But get there on time, people! We're going hard from 4 to midnight!
